Just an old soul trying to keep a nostalgic profession alive with creative compositions & techniques! 

My passion for photography started early in my childhood. Originally from California, born & raised, I fell in love with the beauty and power of the ocean. When I was young I would read through my Grandparents "National Geographic" and "Time Life" magazines, I always felt that the images taken would tell the story rather than the actual article. Growing up in a military family I decided to follow in my Great Grandfather, Grandfather & Father's footsteps and serve "Our" country as a young man. 

After all my journey's around the world, experiences I've gained & people I've met, I realized that every moment counts. Time must be preserved! The only tools we have is our memories and a camera. Pen and paper just don't suffice!

My perspective is anyone can take a photograph, what stands out is:

• Composition
• Lighting
• Angles
• Timing
• Uniqueness

I try not to have to do to much editing, by shooting in Manual mode. Allowing me to manipulate all the settings. I absolutely love monochromatic (black & white) photography, too me it's easier on the eyes. Ensuring you take in the whole subject and details. I'm a big fan of long shutter speeds shots that allow the photographer to be creative and let the camera do the work!

I have a very abstract approach, probably get that from my Mother & Sister who are both artist's in their own right!
